Good Morning,
I’m having a bit of a hate relationship with jeans at the moment. I’m struggling to find styles and shape that suit and the options I’m drawn to don’t seem to look the same on me as they do on others.
These paperbag waist jeans are a prime example. I love how they look on the website and on other people however I feel like I look like a sack of spuds when I wear them. Maybe it’s how I’m styling them or maybe they just aren’t the right style for my figure although I do wear this style of trousers all the time. I see other petite girls looking amazing in mom style jeans and I always end up selling the ones I’ve bought as I end up not getting the wear out of them. I love the idea of them but when it comes to actually styling them day to day, I just don’t seem to be able to pull it all together.
Anyway I’m persevering with this pair for now and challenging myself to make them work. I’ve paired with the cutest little wrap style cardi from Zara. It’s such a great piece to have around this time of year when one minute it’s freezing and the next it’s mild. It’s easy to throw on and makes an outfit look put together.
My little pink bag is the perfect match and was a gift from a friend. The patent finish and gold hardware detail is ideal for dressing up causal outfits like this one. I’ve finished with a little pair of tweed pumps which will be lovely when the better weather arrives.
xo!
