I wanted to start with a little disclaimer today. All of my recent, current and upcoming content was created before the new Government regulations were enforced. I always work a few weeks to a month in advance in terms of my content therefore there’s a lag between creating and sharing. I work full time and that’s the way I’ve always worked however given the current situation, I wanted to be clear about it. I don’t want anyone to think I’m not abiding by the regulations, I just have plenty of content stacked up ready to share over the coming weeks/months. If it gets to the point where I run out then so be it however I expect to have sufficient to maintain my twice a week schedule.
It does feel a bit strange to talk about trends and fashion when the reality is we’re not going anywhere or doing anything at the moment however I’ve found comfort in other people’s blog posts and I wanted to keep posting partly as a distraction and to maintain a sense of normality.
It’s safe to say I’m fully ready for Spring to arrive. We’ve had glimmers of it here and there with some beautiful blue sky days. I’ve admired them from the window or by taking some time in the garden to get some much needed fresh air. Hopefully the weather will continue to improve to make the quarantine a little more bearable. The clocks go forward this weekend which is one of the main signals of the shift from Winter to Spring. I’m never happy about losing that precious hour of sleep however given I’m spending so much time at home, I’m getting more rest than I usually would so I guess that makes up for it this time around.
