Tweed Obsession Continues

Good Morning,

If you’ve been here for a while you’ll know tweed is one of my all time favourite designs. It’s a classic and has a luxurious look and feel to it. The high street has some great value for money styles and Zara has always been my go to when it comes to tweed. They seem to nail it every time in terms of seasonal and colourful designs. I often go on the site and search ‘tweed’ to see all of the available pieces in case I miss anything in the new in section or all the different categories. From blazers in Autumn to pinafores in Summer, my wardrobe is full of different tweed pieces and I can’t get enough.

One of my favourites from last summer was a little pastel blue pinafore as styled here. This season, they’ve brought out a similar but slightly smarter style in the form of this beautiful and bold blue tweed dress. The square neckline is different to all my other tweed pieces and the thicker straps grab your attention. The band down the middle with the gems is another great detail and adds a feminine touch.

I’ve layered a white lace blouse underneath which works well with the frills complimenting the dress and fitting in nicely around the neckline and sleeves.

A neutral pair of heels are subtle and avoid distracting from the dress. My pale pink Kensington is the perfect match and brings the outfit together.
