Good Morning,
I thought I’d pull together some of my top picks from my favourite stores and add these in as an extra post each week. I know there is a real difference of opinion in relation to online shopping at the moment and there is a variance even between retailers with some having completely closed operations while others continue almost as business as usual. Shopping for me is a hobby and something that I enjoy, at times even a bit too much. While I’d hoped to use this lockdown as a time to save some cash, I’ve very much enjoyed and looked forward to receiving orders I’ve placed. On some occasions, I’m not ashamed to admit it’s been the highlight of my day. It’s also been a distraction from the constant barrage of bad news and statistics that are becoming ever more challenging to comprehend. I’m missing my nieces dearly, I’m missing my wider family and I can’t wait to see my friends again. Technology is wonderful, I’d be lost without my group chats and FaceTime is a blessing however it doesn’t come close to that physical and face to face contact that we’ve so long took for granted.
When the lockdown is lifted and we’re gradually able to start living our lives again, our diaries are going to be full of events and occasions and belated celebrations. Best believe my wardrobe is ready and waiting with old and new pieces and while what we wear is of zero importance in the grander scheme of things (although important that we do wear clothes), it’s something that for me anyway, will symbolise the transition from the tough times we’ve encountered.
Anyway I hope you enjoy my top picks from ASOS for Spring. Don’t forget if you’re an NHS member of staff or Blue Light Card holder, you can get 20% off orders over £30 at ASOS until 30th April.
xo!
