As we enter another week in lockdown, I’m trying to make more of an effort. I’ve been rolling out of bed and eating breakfast at my desk in a routine that is going to be hard to shift. On the one hand I’m enjoying it and making the most of it while I can but on the flip side, I don’t want to get too comfortable in that it becomes a habit I can’t get out of. I also find on the days I’m forced to wear something other than joggers / loungewear, I tend to be more productive. Some days I opt for the hybrid approach – business on the top half with comfy casuals on the bottom which I think is a fair compromise between the two.
We’ve been so fortunate with the weather and I’ve got plenty of new summer dresses to wear even if only in the garden for now. This one is one of my recent favourites and it’s the most affordable. The lightweight fabric is perfect for the heat and it’s soft and flowy. The fine detailed ditsy pattern is sweet and screams summer. The high neck is a style I love and it suits my figure. The slightly longer sleeve is really flattering too.
Are you still slobbing in loungewear or has the sun got you in summer dresses?
