Good Morning,
The virus might have scuppered our holiday plans but the weather has been kind & I’ve been wearing my finest summer pieces around the garden, to nip to the supermarket or to go a walk.
Now that more outdoors activities are permitted, I’m slowly but surely getting round to seeing all my nearest and dearest. Sitting in the garden, catching up on everything and nothing all at the same time has been so fulfilling. It’s what I longed for the entire time and as long as we can continue doing so, I’m happy to sacrifice other things for the foreseeable future.
Online shopping is something that has continued throughout this crazy time and it’s brought some light relief through the darker days. I actually picked up this little co-ord way back in February and I originally planned to wear it in Mexico. It’s a top and shorts from River Island although when on, it looks like a playsuit / one piece. They have definitely taken inspiration from Zimmermann when creating this set as it is a very close dupe at a fraction of the cost. The level of detail is superb from the lacing across the edges to the trim of the shorts. The frills and subtle floral pattern are on point and perfectly balanced. It’s amazing value for money at under £60 in total for the set and the quality is exceptional.
While I may not get to Mexico this year, I will get wear out of this two-piece in the meantime. It’s far too pretty to go unnoticed & I’ll be busting it out for any occasion or opportunity that arises.
xo!
