After 4 months of working from home I’ve gone through a few different stages in terms of attire. I started with loungewear and I fully embraced that for a considerable amount of time. When the hot weather landed, I was wearing dresses and shorts to keep cool. Now that things have levelled off I’m starting to blend the comfort of loungewear with the kind of styles I’d normally wear in the office.
Some days I have back to back meetings or I’m involved in virtual interviews and I want to look presentable while remaining comfortable. This jumpsuit is a perfect example of the kind of thing I’m opting for although I have a little confession to make. I got this from the kids section of the Zara sale. Would you ever have known if I hadn’t mentioned it? Probably not. It’s a super soft jersey material with ribbed detailing and a scrunched in waist. The beautiful beige tone is what drew me to this piece initially. I knew I could easily style it up with my favourite check blazer and a pair of heels when back in the office. At home I obviously don’t need to add anything but a little pair of snake print flats provide some detail and break up the block tone.
