We’re now into August and despite 2020 being the strangest year of our lives thus far, it’s still going quickly. It won’t be long before nights draw in, the days get shorter and the air feels crisper. Until then, I’m trying to hold on to what’s left of Summer.
If you’re a long time reader you’ll know I’m a big fan of tweed, some might even call it an obsession. Either way, it’s a firm favourite that features in my wardrobe all year round. In Autumn and Winter, darker, thicker and rougher textures come through while in Spring and Summer, lighter and pastel tones take precedence.
This little number brings back fond memories of my short visit to Paris last year. It wasn’t my best trip, my mind was elsewhere however I’d bought this specifically to wear while exploring my favourite city and that’s exactly what I did. The pink and white thread woven with a little hint of blue here and there is all of my favourite colours combined. It also makes accessorising really easy as you can pair with any of those tones and you’re on to a winner.
This time around I wore it while exploring my own capital city. How beautiful is Circus Lane?
