Florals are always a feature in Summer styling and I’m not complaining. I like to see how brands will change it up each year and come out with something slightly different to the previous releases. I’m not a big fan of prints which are too busy or large patterns if that makes sense. I much prefer a finer, subtle print and this little two piece from River Island has everything in perfect proportions. The bright white base with the pop of colour in the floral embroidery is stunning. You can get away with a bolder colour, in this case the fuchsia pink as the embroidery is concentrated in small areas and therefore not overwhelming. The design, cut and fit of this co-ord is on point, I absolutely love it.
The little tulle floral bag goes perfectly and is different to all my other bags. It holds more than you’d realise and gives a real sense of Summer. It’s one that I’ll have in my collection for a long time, bringing it out each Summer and tagging along on holidays.
