I’ve got a smart/casual outfit for you today ideal for a dinner date or an afternoon tea with the girls. A chic white blouse is always a good idea. You can style it up or down depending on the occasion and it’s a timeless piece to have in your everyday wardrobe. This one has puffed up sleeves and I like that they come down to the elbow as it gives a bit more coverage as we transition to Autumn or if you are conscious of your upper arms as I know a lot of women are.
A high waist pair of neutral jeans will see you through all seasons and are such a great piece to invest in. Getting the right shape and fit for your figure is important but once you’ve nailed that, you will find yourself reaching for them over and over again. This pair are a mom fit but they aren’t too oversized or boxy which makes them appropriate and in proportion for my petite frame.
Adding a nude pair of strappy heels helps to elongate the legs and this barely there pair are ideal. The outfit overall is quite modest in that it offers a lot of coverage and a simple heel helps to open things up a little, showing some skin while maintaining elegance.
A bag in a similar yet contrasting tone of beige/taupe held as a clutch brings the outfit together. The structured shape works well and the subtle croc pattern adds some detail without overwhelming.
