Good Morning,
It’s the last bank holiday before Christmas and I’m well and truly making the most of it. The weather has been glorious albeit on the fresh side and as such, I’ve had the heating on. There’s been a notable shift in the temperature which formally marks the transition from Summer to Autumn. I’m looking forward to the leaves changing and crisping up while being cosy and warm inside. I’ve still got plenty of transitional outfits to share as I’ve been a bit snap happy recently, stacking up lots of content to avoid having to perish when it gets colder.
I haven’t been exaggerating when I talk about how frequently I wear this blazer. It’s my favourite piece of 2020 by a long shot and I’m still coming up with different ways to style it. Today I’ve chosen a ribbed, neutral jumpsuit which is a perfect Autumn wardrobe staple. It’s understated but extremely effective and looks chic whether dressed up or down. It offers versatility and oozes elegance and if I didn’t tell you, I bet you wouldn’t believe it was from the kids section at Zara. I’m constantly checking the new in section of the kids department for essential pieces like this to add to my everyday wardrobe. I’ve had coats, jackets, jumpers, loungewear, boots and trainers over the years which are affordable and durable.
The blazer is a perfect match for the jumpsuit and the neutral tones all work well together. My little Richmond bag is another great accompaniment and blends in with the overall colour palette. A pair of nude heels are subtle but chic and show some skin which helps open up the look.
I could easily wear this outfit for work, an interview, an important event or meeting or for an occasion and I’ll always be comfortable and confident.
xo!
