Good Morning,

Today marks the last day of September and we have officially entered Autumn. The air is getting crisper, the days are getting shorter and if not already, pumpkin spiced lattes will be back on the menu at Starbucks.

This Autumn is potentially going to be different from the previous 29 I’ve experienced thus fur. With more restrictions in place and working from home still the default position, I’m definitely not going to be using as much of my Autumn wardrobe as I normally would. I’ll still make use of my knitwear and blazers however I’m not going to be as heavily reliant on coats and boots this year as I simply won’t be out and about as much. As a result, I’ll continue wearing the pieces I already have and supplement with some new options here and there.

H&M is one of my go to places for Autumn knitwear as they offer classic and trend styles at great value for money prices. I’m still wearing jumpers from years ago as they wash well and last but I like to freshen up my collection now and again. They have some beautiful options this season with unusual necklines being of the main trends this year. They have everything from square to v neck, to sweetheart, round or polo neck as well as bright and bold colours or muted and neutral tones.

In the trouser department they have a wide variety of options including leather look paperbag waist styles, mom fit trousers in various tones or tailored trousers offering comfort and style all in one. I’m extremely impressed with the £12.99 mom fit trousers, they are really stretchy, almost like a jegging material but they look like a jean. This makes them super comfortable and not at all restrictive. I’ve now got them in stone and black as I know I’ll be wearing them constantly for the next few months. They also come in a dark grey which I might need to try given the affordability.

Aside from clothing, H&M have some lovely accessories for the new season. Slouchy and quilted cross body bags, designer dupe belts, dainty jewellery as well as on trend footwear. If you’re loving the high leg boot trend, H&M have an incredible pair for only £29.99. I’m kind of sad I didn’t pick these up recently when I spotted them in store but I do still have a similar pair from Zara last year and I’m trying to be a bit more sensible. It’s not easy but I’m trying…

What gets you excited for Autumn/Fall?

xo!
