Good Morning,
The temperatures have been all over the place the last few weeks, one minute it’s a pleasant 15 degrees and the next it’s -2 with full on gale force winds. It’s so difficult to gauge and it can change in the blink of an eye. I’m eager to wear some lighter layers and fully transition my wardrobe for Spring however I need to keep a few warmer and thicker pieces to hand for now.
This crochet knit is the perfect in between piece as it’s thick and weighty and I can layer a long sleeve white tee underneath for coverage. Despite the openwork design, it’s surprisingly warm and I love the wide sleeves. They give that extra detail that makes it stand out from an otherwise ordinary neutral knit. The high neck helps to maintain heat and the ribbed detail contrasts against the crochet design.
I ordered an extra pair of these stone toned jeans as they came back in stock and they are honestly the most comfortable pair I’ve ever owned. At £12.99, they are an absolute steal and I’ve now got 2 black pairs, 2 neutral and 1 pair of the khaki green so I’m well stocked up for the foreseeable future. They are such a great piece to have for day to day wear and they fit so well. They also wash well which is great as often jeans can fade or lose their shape / comfort after a few washes.
I haven’t had much opportunity yet to wear my bee trainers my friend gifted me however they will be a key piece in my Spring/Summer outfits. The gold hardware is soft and subtle and goes really well with neutrals which is great as that’s what I’ve been living in lately if you hadn’t already noticed.
I managed to get my hands on the trending Starbucks cold cup and I’ve been using it for my breakfast smoothies. It’s ideal for reducing single use plastic waste and I’m sure it’ll be joining me as we ease out of lockdown and start to spend more time out and about with friends and family.
xo!
