Good Morning,
Easy Summer outfits are my favourite and this one is a perfect example of what I mean. In my opinion, you can never have enough good quality basics and Zara are great for tops and t-shirts for everyday wear. I picked up this one in white, black and pink and they wear and wash so well despite only being £6.99. It’s always easier to decide what to wear when you have a strong selection of basics. They really are the back bone of my wardrobe and make the difference between spending an age trying to find something to wear and having multiple choices as they can be mixed and matched effortlessly.
The shorts are also new in from H&M. I love the thick rib detailing and thought they’d be a great pair to throw on when I’m working from home or to nip round to the post office etc on a warm and sunny day. Being white, they go with everything and are really easy to style up or down. You can add a blazer to elevate or keep it casual with a tee or a crop top. They are super stretchy, loose and comfortable which is ideal for warmer weather. They are definitely the kind of thing I’d opt for if I was going on holiday and they’d be perfect for a beach day or worn over a swimsuit or bikini for lunch. Sadly I’m not going to be in that situation this year but boy will it feel good when we eventually get back to holidaying.
I’m living in trainers this year, I can’t seem to get back in to the habit of wearing normal shoes. This pair from Pull and Bear are my all time favourites as they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned. It’s like walking on clouds, they are the best and so affordable too. I’ve got 3 pairs of this particular style and I wish I had bought more as they are no longer available. They are simple and understated so easy to style and not trend led therefore no issue of them going out of fashion, not that I would care anyway as the comfort factor is worth more than the aesthetic. Oh how life has changed…
xo!
