Boundless Creativity: The World of Louis Vuitton x Murakami:

Louis Vuitton and Murakami come together once more in a spirit of boundless creativity. Born in Tokyo in the 1960s, Murakami is known for his unique fusion of traditional Japanese art, science fiction, anime, and cute kawaii characters. Consequently, his works often feature repetitive motifs that reflect the intersection of pop culture, history, and fine art.

Reviving Vibrant Works:

This collection revives the vibrant works from the original collaboration that Marc Jacobs, then Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton, initiated. The main highlight is the reinterpretation of Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram pattern, now showcased in various women’s leather goods and accessories.

Technological Advances and Craftsmanship:

Technological advances enable each product to have more vivid and precise detailing of Murakami’s characters and motifs. Additionally, the collection maintains the high standards of craftsmanship that Louis Vuitton is known for.

Key Highlights of the Collection:

  1. Monogram Multicolore: LV and floral motifs in 33 different colors.
  2. LV Hands Logo: Playful on the Alma BB bag and silk carré.
  3. Superflat Panda: This whimsical character appears on sneakers, keychains, and skateboards.
  4. Superflat Garden: Smiley flowers on the Attrape-Rêves perfume bottle.
  5. Capucines Bags: A range of beautiful bags.
  6. Cherry Blossom Motif: On the Papillon bag, platform sandals, and the Courrier Lozine 110 Fleurs trunk.
